    This  set of 2 Medium Reusable Madhu Wrap Beeswax Food Wraps contains 2 wraps in assorted prints handcrafted in herbal dyed GOTS certified organic cotton.

    Description

    The set of 2 Medium sized Madhu Wrap reusable beeswax food wraps is ideal for packing roti, sandwiches and cut fruit for a lunch or snack box.  They can also be used to wrap half of smaller fruits like melons or to wrap small cakes etc. The wraps mould to food or vessels to be covered when pressed with the warmth of your hands.

    Can be washed and reused as many as 100 times.

    Lab tested as safe for food contact as per IS 9845: 1998 and IS 6615 

     

    The wraps are available in the following prints.

    You will receive a set of 2 assorted prints. However if you would like specific prints,  please mention a note while placing the order
    How to Use

    The wraps are naturally slightly sticky and mold with the warmth of your hand and holds shape when folded over food or vessels.
    As it cannot be washed with hot water we do not recommend using it to wrap raw meat products.
    Bring freshly prepared hot foods like roti and dosa to room  temperature before wrapping.
    Store in a cool place away from heat sources such as ovens and cooking hobs.
    Wash & Care

    Gently hand wash the beeswax wraps after use with cold water. Use a mild soap if very dirty. Use a gentle brush if required to remove stuck on food particles.
    As beeswax melts at 60 deg.C Do not wash with hot water 
    Wipe dry with a clean towel or hang to air dry.

    GOTS certified organic cotton fabric, Natural unbleached beeswax, Dammar Gum, Certified organic cold pressed coconut oil
    End of Life
    Once the wraps are no longer sticky and the wax has worn off, cut them into strips and dispose it by composting.

    Very useful product

    I have been using Madhu wrap for preserving herbs, cheese and cut fruits. So far it has been working very well. I have just bought it - so I haven’t discovered all the ways I will be able to use it - but I am very excited to try more with this! The herbs stayed fresh for around 4-5 days in the wrap. And the cut fruit felt fairly fresh wrapped in the fridge.

    Amazing product

    Recently purchased the product for preserving cut fruits/vegetables. I must say, that I am very impressed by a sustainable innovation such as this. It negates plastic use and turns out to be affordable as I dont have to purchase cling wrap/aluminium foils, due to its re-usability. I am looking forward to try preserving cheese in the near future.

    Quality is not up to the mark

    Not so good because after keeping hot chapati it will stick to it .. after washing for almost 20 times , it has become very thin.

    A versatile eco friendly alternative

    Abiut a year back a friend gifted me a set of ‘madhu wrap’s. They have been my go- to wraps for storing cut fruits and vegetables. They come in three sizes and are good to store lemons as well as melons. Since they are easily mouldable coriander leaves keep fresh for almost 5 days. A mild soap wash and they are ready to use again. They come in a range of nice soothing prints too. An eco friendly alternative to plastic films and aluminium wraps.
