Mustard Yellow Print Furoshiki Gift Wraps

Dāman Furoshiki is an amalgamation of the Japanese art of Furoshiki with India’s rich textile heritage, creating sustainable and earth friendly fabric gift wraps.

Mustard yellow is considered an auspicious colour and is symbol of prosperity associated with Indian festivals and celebrations. We have curated a  mix of print in this colour ranging from geometric motifs, fun and quirky objects, floral patterns  to animals and bird prints using natural yellow dyes for this collection. Natural yellows, mustard and orange dyes are sourced from turmeric roots, Himalayan rhubarb as well as from other plants and flowers.

Small: 13 ” x 13 ” ( 33 cm x 33 cm ) – Diagonal = 18″/46 cm

Medium/Standard : 20.5″ x 20.5″ ( 52 cm x 52 cm) – Diagonal – 29″ / 73 cm

Large: 27.5″ X 27.5 ″ (70 cm x 70 cm) – Diagonal = 39″/99 cm

Extra Large: 42″ X 42 ″ ( 106 cm x 106 cm) -Diagonal = 59″/150 cm

Choosing the right size:

A simple rule of thumb to apply while choosing a size is to choose a Furoshiki size with a diagonal length 3 times the longest length of the object you will be wrapping.  Read more on CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE FUROSHIKI here

Besides using them for gift wrapping, depending on the size they can be used as a handkerchief, a hair tie, a bandana a small bag or even a table cover.

Hand wash cold with mild soap. Natural and vegetable dyes may bleed during the first wash so we recommend washing separately. For first wash soak the fabric in a mug of water with 2 table spoons of common salt for better fixing of the dyes.

Made from 100% cotton cambric fabric these fabric wraps are printed with traditional hand block printing using vegetable and natural dyes.
